Choosing what to take with me has been the usual challenge of balancing weight (especially on those long hot climbs) against comfort and safety. The weather should be reasonably warm (and even very hot at times), but with the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoons and evenings, and maybe frost overnight if I am camping high.(In the national parks camping below 2000m is usually illegal, so there is little option to be anything but fairly high!)
